The applied voltage has been increased to a maximum of 4200V, and the ST4030 has been reborn as the ST4030A! ● By quantifying the response waveform, a one-turn short can be identified. ● Impulse testing can be performed in the rotor assembly state based on LC and RC values. ● The discharge detection function (optional) accurately detects pseudo-shorts. ● Captures and does not miss subtle changes in the waveform with high-speed sampling × high resolution × long waveform. ● Reduces variation in applied voltage, achieving high accuracy in defect detection. ● Complies with the insulation breakdown voltage test (BDV) required by standards.

The Impulse Winding Tester "IWT-5000A" applies pulse voltages up to 5000V to coils such as inverters and motors, allowing for testing of issues like coil disconnection, short circuits, insulation failures, and changes in inductance. By providing narrow (low energy) pulse voltages at high voltage, programmable in the range of 200 to 5000V, it minimizes damage to the tested coil. It is equipped with an automatic scaling function for measurements and has four types of automatic judgment functions for inspecting insulation failures such as corona discharge.
